Objective:
Collect sets of 4 cards that show all forms of the same verb:
Infinitive
Past Simple
Past Participle
-ing Form
Shuffle the 168 cards.
Deal 5 cards to each player.
Place the rest face-down as the draw pile.
Gameplay:
On your turn, ask another player for a specific verb form of a verb you already have (e.g., “Do you have went?”).
If the player has it, they must give it to you.
You may continue asking until you don’t get a match.
If no match – “Go Fish!” – draw a card from the pile.
When a player collects all 4 forms of a verb, they place the set down.
Winning:
The player with the most complete verb sets at the end of the game wins!
Goal:
Collect sets of 4 matching cards from the same category item (e.g., 4 “Pineapple” cards).
Setup:
Shuffle the cards.
Deal 5 cards to each player.
Place the rest face down in a draw pile (the “pond”).
How to Play:
The youngest player starts and asks another player for a specific card (e.g., “Do you have a Pineapple?”).
If the player has it, they must give all matching cards.
If not, they say “Go Fish!” and the asker draws 1 card from the pond.
If the drawn card is the one they asked for, they go again.
When a player collects 4 of the same card, they place the set in front of them.
The game ends when all sets are made.
